First off huge thanks and congrats to our costumed riders tonight … you are fun and fast !

Costumed riders receive 5 bonus points … you will have to remember but i have made a note and will figure out a way to get it added into the overall.

Give me a day or two on overall … have Hoddy correction, Will Summers is being bumped up to 13-14 and waiting for Kent/Geoff to figure out why their overall figured out (that is why i pay them so much …)

Final thanks to those who came despite threat of rain … glad it paid off and hoping for a beauty August.

Canada Day Crazy Course !  Results

Click here for the Race Report from Tuesday, July 28th. While the clouds may have opened up on us and rained on us just prior to the race; the short, climbing-centric course that Haydn set up raced very well once the sun decided to shine down on the smiling faces on the start line! **PLEASE READ**: We had some reports that not all faces were smiling however - remember folks, this is a FUN race series! Competition is one thing - but this isn’t a World Cup! Please remember to keep it friendly out there - ESPECIALLY to those of you who are on teams and representing clubs. You are seen as ‘elite’ riders and therefore, mountain bike ambassadors. Novice riders, the young and young-at-heart, look up to folks such as yourself. Remember to be extra courteous out there, and help everyone along! Thanks very much for making these races such a success!

Costume night in 2 weeks with corn roast !

What a great night some challenging climbs, some crazy corners, weiners are roasting, cookies, pop, prizes from Trek Store and King Township, Demo Bikes from Trek Store  … and the most attractive race organizing guy around

Also thanks to Speedway packaging and Kent for some support on this BBQ and the upcoming Corn roast /costume night in 2 weeks. I will try to get some veggie options for those who don’t like meat … I am a meat-a-tarian so sponsors on the veggie options welcome

Also big thanks to Kent and Geoff for getting all the tape and signs that helps a ton and it was a crappy night to do it, you guys are great.

May be a few errors in this week’s results as between rain and a crowded tent due to the rain (or my attractive boyish looks) I missed a few plates.

Sean was also racing for the R&D arm of Team SPEED - with clipless pedals and a true MTB helmet! Let’s hope that summer arrives sometime before the end of it! See you all next week!!
