General Info About the Series

     Entering it’s fourth season, the weekly series at King combines a great family-oriented atmosphere with fun, flowing trails.  Matt Paziuk, one of Ontario’s most enigmatic characters will be taking over the series this year. Look for an increased attention to the business side of things. Courses vary from night to night, with a great mix of fast singletrack, steep climbs, and open “drop the hammer” sections.  A great atmosphere and excellent draw prizes courtesy Trek Bicycle Store finish off each evening.  Other features include BBQ nights courtesy King Township and Speedway packaging, and fun nights such as the costume night. 

How does it work?

• Rides start at 7:00pm
• 3 waves two minutes apart divided based on age and gender. (and by geared / singlespeed)
• Riders do as many laps as they can finish with a 45 minute cut-off (most finish around an hour)
• Each night return # plates to be eligible for draw prizes available from our great sponsor

What do you need to race?

• Certified Bicycle Helmet
• Mountain Bike in working condition
• Caregiver over 18 to complete waiver
• Minimum insurance requirement of a citizen permit (Available through the O.C.A, or on-site. $5 one-day permits are also available)

Event Cost

• The per-event cost of $10 includes access to the park (14 & under $9)
• Full season of racing is $110, or $90 for kids 14 & under. (Special discounts offered to families, email sean@chicoracing.com for details)
• All registration to be done at the event*
• Minimum O.C.A. permit, 1-day permits available for $5/night
• Computer timing for fast, mostly accurate results
• * Sorry, we do not accept Credit Card …  cash or cheque only.
